Ned Colletti.... did something.... good? Manny Ramirez for LaRoche and prospects? No Kemp? No Fuck-with-your-soul-like-Ethier? How did he make this trade without trading them?
This is the problem with the Dodgers under Frank McCourt. They put out a crap team this year, but they don't trade any of the important young players. They decide to spend $500 million to build a giant Grove-like shopping center in Chavez Ravine, but then make moves like this that keep my faith.
I don't even care about Manny's stats. The man caught a fly ball on the run, jumped into the stands to high-five a Red Sox fan, and then doubled off someone at 2nd earlier this year. That's enough for me.
